Hosting and servers

We always register hosting in the client's name and just get access ourselves. That way the project belongs to you, even if you switch developers one day. For more on choosing, read our guide How to choose web hosting.

Hostinger: for simple websites

Shared hosting with the easy-to-use hPanel control panel, SSL and email. We pick it for landing pages, small business websites and WordPress, when the owner wants to manage the site themselves without dealing with a server. Check the renewal price before you buy. Full review.

DigitalOcean: for production

Cloud servers that spin up in a minute, with backups, monitoring and excellent documentation. This is where our clients' CRMs, Node.js sites and sales-critical bots live. Deployment guide.

Contabo: lots of resources for a minimal price

VPS plans where a few euros get you 4 cores and 8 GB of RAM. We pick it for scrapers, n8n, test servers and backups, where price matters more than peak performance. Full review.

Tools we use every day

No affiliate links here: we recommend these simply because they are good.

  • Cloudflare - DNS, CDN and DDoS protection. The free plan is enough for most websites.
  • Let's Encrypt - free SSL certificates with automatic renewal.
  • GitHub - code, change history and automated deployments.
  • Docker - the same environment on the developer's machine and on the server, and easy moves between hosts.
  • n8n - an automation builder you can self-host on your own server with no limits on executions.
  • Playwright - browser automation for testing and for scraping sites with dynamic content.
  • PostgreSQL - our go-to database for CRMs and web apps.
  • Telegram Bot API - a free platform for bots, payments and Mini Apps.
